Late 19th century three valve single horn with crooks in F/B flat


This three rotary valve horn is based on originals by several different makers of this configuration from the late 19th century to around 1920 and was a standard model of orchestra horn. The horn is supplied with F and B flat terminal crooks and two sets of valve slides for F and B flat. This horn is appropriate for romantic orchestra, chamber and solo music from the mid-19th century through the first quarter of the 20th Century or later.  

Bell diameter 12.2” (31 cm) Bore .468” (11.9 mm) In yellow brass with nickel silver bell garland, trim and braces. The mouthpiece inlet takes a modern shank.
