Detachable Valves (Perinet Pistons)

Two or three valve detachable sets can be made to fit the Halari and Courtois horns. A slight alteration must be done to the tuning slide of the instrument to allow for the attachment of the valves, but this has no negative effects on the playing qualities of the horn.

Valve slides are generally made to play with the F crook, but can be pulled out to play with the E, or E flat crooks also.
